Never too early to begin assessing some of next year's most anticipated flicks.

Underworld: Evolution
I only know one person who saw the original and he just wanted to jerk off to Kate Beckinsale.

Adam Robot: she looks even hotter in the sequel

Basic Instinct 2: Risk Addiction
The good: The writer/director of (personal favorite) The Believer wrote the screenplay.
The bad: Sharon Stone is 47 years old.

Ice Age 2: The Meltdown
If the release of a second one means the return of the Blue Cherry Frozen Float at Burger King, so be it.

Scary Movie 4
I thought David Zucker (Airplane!, The Naked Gun) would resuscitate the franchise when he signed on to direct number three. Instead, he looked to BASEketball (!) for inspiration and looks to continue tarnishing his legacy with this project. The rumored cast includes Freddie Prinze Jr. and Andre 3000.

The Fast and the Furious 3: Tokyo
Perhaps Jon Yu will like it.

Garfield 2
Will Bernie Mac replace Bill Murray as the voice of Garfield?

The Grudge 2
This will actually be the third Grudge 2 directed by Takashi Shimizu. In Japan, he shot a direct-to-video Grudge 2 as well as a theatrical Grudge 2. Quite a filmography…

The Santa Clause 3
Ar ar are you kidding me? "Tim Allen struggles to retain control of Christmas as Jack Frost tries to claim the holiday as his own." Unless producers cast that creepy anthropomorphic snowman inhabited by the departed soul of Michael Keaton, I think I'll pass.

Resident Evil: Afterlife
Resident Evil 4 (2008)
In the final reel of the third film, zombie action will shift from post-apocalyptic Nevada to Japan (seriously), setting up the fourth film and fanboy ire for years to come.
