The most popular television show in Canada is American Idol.

This interests me because:
1. Canadians can't vote for American Idol
2. Canada has its own Idol series, which premieres right after American Idol ends and draws similar ratings

They sure love Idol up north.

I can barely stomach four-and-a-half months of Idol a year in America, let alone nine straight!

Then again, American Idol doesn't stage "The Guess Who night" or "Barenaked Ladies night."

Country, bleh.
