The Agony of Defeat is one month old today. That is one month longer than I thought I could sustain it.
When Adam Riff (then Child of a Lesser God) debuted in 2000, I updated once a month.
Now I estimate I spend 35 hours a week outside my day job working on this web site. What you see is deceptively simple.
The sidebar alone is a 12-hour project, or how I spend my Friday afternoons/nights. All other content is crafted daily like an episode of Saturday Night Live. I draft up 10-20 posts and then consolidate and refine the ones I like.
Some nights I'm up past 2:00 a.m. brainstorming better comments and editing words and sentence constructions that I'm not happy with.
Needless to say, I didn't need to adopt a third gig sifting through sports photos every day.
So it goes.
just sell out and put ads up already. JUSTIFIED.
honestly, i agree.
Seriously, I don't know how you do it.
I love this site so much. All your efforts are appreciated & admired.
This is my favorite website.
That is a lot of time. Well worth it, though
You know how I feel.
