On my way to buy a cream puff in the city on Saturday, I passed by the future Contemporary Jewish Museum:

From the side, it looks like a polygonal meteor crashed into a temple.

In the Sunday paper, I read about the opening of a glass courtyard addition to old half of the Jewish Museum in Berlin:

That is a Jewish museum, not a museum of contemporary art.

Turns out the same architect, Daniel Libeskind, designed both Jewish museums. He also designed the Danish Jewish Museum:

This guy is revolutionizing what a Jewish museum should be! Why was I not aware of him until now?

He is the David Carson of Jewish museum architecture.
