Where Is My Mind?

The mayor of Batman, a city in southeastern Turkey, is suing Christopher Nolan and Warner Bros. for royalties from "The Dark Knight."

Why so litigious?

Huseyin Kalkan has accused producers of using the city's name without permission.

"There is only one Batman in the world."

"We're the O.B."

The mayor is prepping a series of charges including placing the blame for a number of unsolved murders and a high female suicide rate on the psychological impact that the film's success has had on the city's inhabitants. [source]

I wonder how Batman and Robin affected the city.

If the lawsuit fails…

Constantinople was Batman!
Now it's Constantinople, not Batman!

Last year, Fox planned to release the four-hour premiere of 24's sixth season on DVD the day after it finished airing on television.

Like many commercial DVDs, the four-hour premiere leaked onto the Internet a week-and-a-half before its airdates.

Fox subpoenaed YouTube for the identity of a user who uploaded the four-hour premiere, citing "irreparable harm."

On November 25, Fox will release the two-hour prequel to 24's seventh season on DVD, two days after it airs on television.

Fool me twice…

If Obama is going to confiscate guns, you're just giving him more guns to confiscate.
The Gap recruited Flo Rida to write a "street-smart rendition" of "Jingle Bells."
Jimmy Eat World will perform "Clarity" in its entirety at 10 shows next year.
Out of order, I hope. "Goodbye Sky Harbor" is a lousy song to end with.
