In Las Vegas, The Venetian Resort is unique, as all of its buildings were designed roughly to scale. While other hotels in the destination are more of a "caricature" of their theme, The Venetian was conceived to be an inspired (and nearly exact) replica of the ancient city.

So…no need to visit Venice.

IT IS A MARVEL OF MODERN CONSTRUCTION
The foundation of The Venetian Resort required the largest continuous concrete pour in U.S. history, using 125 trucks over a 30-hour period.

Ah so…

THE VENETIAN RESORT IS A SMALL CITY
The Palazzo tower displaced the Pentagon as the largest building in terms of floor space in the United States, at 19 million square feet.

What?!

According to Wikipedia, when complete, Tesla's Gigafactory Texas will displace The Palazzo.

All that concrete pouring for nothing.
